Floating on the upper surface of water is very valuable. It provides relaxation to your body and mind.  With proper swimming skills, you can become comfortable with both front and back floating. Even, proper front floating will enable you to swim for longer without becoming exhausted.

Now, there are three simple tips to float in water.

1) Jellyfish Float
For the jellyfish float, you must extend your arms and hold your breath. Then, twist around by placing your face in the water and stretching out your abdomen, as if you were trying to lie face down. Also, give your legs a chance to float.

2) The "T" Spot
For “T” spot, you have to place your whole body on a relatively level plane as you swim. Imagine that you stand up straight and two lines for “T” spot are one from shoulder to shoulder and another is head to toe. The "T" is the point at which those lines cross.

3) Back Floating
Back floating provides you relaxation in the pool. In this, stand in the shallow end of the pool and recline. To help you with this, you can also pull your head back and lift your chin up. After this, extend your arms to your sides, and gradually lift your feet and legs up. By this, you might feel awesome in the water.

Thus, learning to float can be a daunting task for you. Therefore, it must be done under the supervision of experts or trainers.
